Music Background :
- Piano and cello studies at l'École
supérieure de musique in Nicolet.
- Popular song studies with
Hélène Ouellette, John Krysack and Jean-Yves Gran and
interpretation with Louis St-André.
- Jazz studies with Julie Micheals (Toronto)
and masterclasses with Jay Clayton and Sheila Jordan (Banff).
- Singer with many jazz groups in the Ottawa-Gatineau
region. Also participated in the "Boum
à la Maison Maxime" series.
- Directed the Top Passion choir (40 voices)
as well as " Double Quatre " (4 men and 4 women) and "
Voixlà! " (female jazz vocal quartet) for special projects.
- Played the role of Cosette in "Les
Misérables" (1999) as well as Kim in "Miss Saïgon"
(2001), two Top Passion productions.
Favourite Singers : Ella Fitzgerald,
Sarah Vaughan, Blossom Dearie and more contemporary jazz singers like
Ranee Lee, Karen Young and Carol Welsman.
