Le
Big Band Caravane is Ottawa-Gatineau's most exciting big band! The band, established
in 2002, is composed of the best musicians from around Ottawa and Gatineau, who
are dedicated to putting the fun back into jazz music. Caravane,
a 21-piece orchestra currently under the direction
of Kieran Milne, is made up of 5 saxophonists, 4 trombonists,
4 trumpeters, a pianist, a guitarist, a bassist, a drummer, a percussionist and
a male and two female vocalists. It's music is
a strong mix of big band dance music, latin tunes, pop tunes, soulful and hot
vocals, and jazz standards. The band aims to bring to you live the fantastic dance
feel, and the hits, of the last 50 years! As the only fully
bilingual big band in the region, Le Big Band Caravane presents full evening shows
for corporate, public and private clients in English or in French. Caravane is
known for the high energy of it's performances and the passion it puts into it's
